Requirements

Automotive Technician's knowledge/experience is REQUIRED.
Certifications, licenses, and local registrations are required for the position.
Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
Wears appropriate safety equipment when in designated work area.
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace in accordance with company regulations.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the United States.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must complete the pre-employment screening.

Nice To Haves

European experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Examines, diagnoses, and evaluates the issues of the vehicle with the Shop Foreman/Service Advisor for communication to the customers.
Provides labor time estimations and repair details to the Service Advisor.
Restores transmissions and fuel components as required.
Manages cooling components and systems, such as engine cooling and air conditioners.
Proposes work procedures in cooperation with the Shop Foreman.
Assembles a story or document for customer repairs.
Ensures that vehicle longevity and functionality are maintained in a consistent manner.
Adheres to dealership policies regarding customer vehicle care and operations.
