About The Position

Vern Eide is an employee-owned company established in 1965, focused on excellence in providing quality vehicles and services. They are seeking a motivated Used Car Inventory Specialist to manage and maintain their pre-owned vehicle inventory. This role is crucial for ensuring vehicles are properly tracked, merchandised, and ready for sale. The position is hourly, paying $18-$20 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with computers and inventory management software.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to drive and move vehicles safely throughout dealership property.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Automotive or dealership experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Managed pre-owned vehicle inventory, ensuring vehicles were properly stocked, parked, and organized for optimal lot presentation.
• Maintained vehicle merchandising materials and lot displays to support sales efforts and enhance customer experience.
• Conducted inspections of aged inventory, identifying vehicles requiring maintenance, detailing, or additional attention.
• Organized and maintained used vehicle files, documentation, and key management systems.
• Transported and shuttled vehicles between dealership locations as needed.
• Prepared vehicles for sale and delivery by cleaning, fueling, and coordinating necessary reconditioning services.
• Created detailed online vehicle listings and trade descriptions, highlighting features, options, and key selling points to attract potential buyers.
• Collaborated with sales and service departments to ensure timely vehicle readiness and inventory accuracy.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail, time management, and commitment to maintaining dealership standards.
