About The Position

Hello Auto Group is building a used-car acquisition team for its three stores and needs an experienced individual to lead it. The company has three stores: a Subaru and Mazda Campus in Temecula and a Mazda Store in San Diego. They require additional inventory to sustain their double-digit year-over-year growth. The company prides itself on being a great new car retailer but has a strong passion for the used car department, with a look-to-book ratio above 50% at all stores. Trades are considered as important as sales, and sales pay plans are structured to heavily favor used cars. The company turns cars quickly, with an average of 21 days in inventory, and is looking for an individual to help stock the lot with the right cars. This role is challenging and demanding but offers a fun and rewarding experience for the right person. Hello Auto Group is a privately owned, family-run organization with owners actively involved in store operations. The role offers the opportunity to be a thought partner, working with Owners, GMs, and Sales Managers towards a common goal, rather than being isolated in a used-car trailer making decisions with input from many. With a strong foundation, the company is ready to accelerate growth. This role requires at least two years of vehicle-buying experience and a proven track record. Experience with vAuto and CDK is preferred but not required. Requirements

• Two years of previous acquisition experience
• Solid understanding of Retail purchasing and merchandising
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required
• Multi-Tasking and high energy is a must for this position
• Responsible, ethical, and committed
• Previous sales success, Assertive, High Energy, and Sociable a must

Nice To Haves

• Experience with vAuto
• Experience with CDK

Responsibilities

• Ability to acquire inventory through multiple sources
• Ability to coordinate transportation
• Manage and coordinate reconditioning
• Train and develop an increased awareness of used inventory
• Manage online inventory from photos, descriptions, spotlight management
• Assist in appraisals at the sales desk and training Client Advisors on Used cars
