About The Position

The H+H Group is expanding its team at the Omaha Recon Center (ORC), a State-of-the-Art Reconditioning Facility located in the Steel Ridge Auto Mall. This role is for a Flag Hour, Used Car, Automotive Reconditioning Service Technician who will focus on basic repairs, including tires, brakes, and routine, light-duty maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a basic set of automotive tools, a quality mindset, and a desire to work within a fast-paced team. The ORC averages over 400 used car repair orders per month, with all Certified Pre-Owned Inspections automated for filter and wiper replacement. The primary focus is on Time-to-Market for reconditioning, with heavy line work handled at main stores. Requirements

Be an Experienced Automotive Technician
The ability to read, and comprehend information and perform calculations
The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer
Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position
Operate a motor vehicle cautiously and safely
Lift/move items up to 100 lbs
Operate motor vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions
Operate necessary equipment, both manual, and power driven in a safe manner
A basic set of automotive tools

Responsibilities

Work on basic repairs, such as tires, brakes, and routine, light-duty maintenance
Repair problems in a vehicle
Test-drive the vehicle to ensure the work is fixed right the first time
Perform work as safely and efficiently as possible
