About The Position

The H+H Group is growing its Team at the Omaha Recon Center (ORC), a State-of-the-Art Reconditioning Facility in the Steel Ridge Auto Mall. This role involves basic repairs such as tires, brakes, and routine, light-duty maintenance. The facility handles reconditioning needs for three high-volume brands, averaging over 400 used car repair orders per month. The focus is on Time-to-Market, with the majority of work involving tires, brakes, alignments, batteries, shocks, and struts. Heavy line work is completed at main stores. Responsibilities include repairing vehicle problems, test-driving to ensure fixes, and performing work safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Be an Experienced Automotive Technician.
• The ability to read, and comprehend information and perform calculations.
• The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
• Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position.
• Operate a motor vehicle cautiously and safely.
• Lift/move items up to 100 lbs.
• Operate motor vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Operate necessary equipment, both manual, and power driven in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Repair problems in a vehicle.
• Test-drive the vehicle to ensure the work is fixed right the first time.
• Perform work as safely and efficiently as possible.
