About The Position

Burns Hyundai in Marlton, NJ is hiring experienced automotive technicians for a second-shift used car reconditioning/internal repair position. This schedule may be a great fit for technicians who prefer evening hours, want a consistent four-day work week, need daytime flexibility, or are balancing family schedules such as childcare. You will focus on used vehicle inspections, reconditioning, maintenance, brakes, tires, suspension, alignments, light diagnostics, and internal repair work after the day shift clears the shop. This second-shift role is ideal for a technician who wants strong hourly pay, steady internal work, a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule, and a three-day weekend every week.

Requirements

Automotive repair experience required.
Dealership, independent shop, or used car reconditioning experience preferred.
Ability to perform maintenance, inspections, brakes, tires, suspension, alignments, and general repairs.
Light diagnostic ability preferred.
Hyundai, Asian import, or dealership experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record.
Reliable, positive, team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning work.
Complete maintenance services, brakes, tires, alignments, suspension, light diagnostics, and general repairs.
Handle internal repair orders efficiently and accurately.
Identify needed repairs, safety concerns, and reconditioning opportunities.
Work with service and used car management to help move vehicles through the reconditioning process.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Help ensure vehicles are front-line ready.
