About The Position

Future Nissan of Roseville is looking for a Used Vehicle Buyer / Acquisition Specialist to help grow our inventory by purchasing quality pre-owned vehicles directly from the public. No automotive buying experience? No problem—we provide paid training for the right person. As a Used Vehicle Buyer, you'll be responsible for finding and purchasing quality used vehicles from private sellers and other sources. Every day is different, and you'll spend your time building relationships, evaluating vehicles, and negotiating purchases that help keep our inventory stocked.

Requirements

• Customer service or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Comfortable learning new technology and vehicle valuation tools
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Valid CA driver's license
• Valid CA Sales License -or- Ability to obtain a California Vehicle Salesperson License

Responsibilities

• Purchase quality used vehicles from private sellers
• Respond to customers interested in selling their vehicles
• Build relationships with local sellers and referral sources
• Research vehicle values and market trends
• Negotiate purchase prices
• Coordinate transportation and vehicle acquisition
• Work with internal teams to get vehicles ready for sale
• Help identify high-demand vehicles our customers are looking for
