About The Position

The US Speaker Programs Sr. Manager is the experience owner for how 4,500 Sales Customer Facing Colleagues, 100+ Marketers, and 500 HCPs interact with Pfizer's speaker program ecosystem consisting of 4,000+ programs annually across Primary Care, Specialty Care, and Oncology. This is equal parts experience design and operational excellence: you'll define what great looks like for every user persona, then manage the operational model that delivers it at scale. Reporting to the CMO CFC Capabilities & Commercial Enablement team, you'll manage the Speaker Program operating model from speaker bureau setup and HCP onboarding through meeting logistics, compliance workflows, reporting, and continuous improvement. You're the steward of $3.95M in BU program funding and the Speaker Program platform that powers it all. This role operates at the intersection of brand strategy, sales speaker programming, digital tools, and field force execution. You'll partner daily with Brand Marketing, Sales Enablement, Corporate Compliance & Legal, Digital, Audit, and GBS MEET, connecting speaker programs to the broader CFC journey and translating user needs into platform capabilities. This role is stepping into a live platform transformation: platform is launching now, and you'll shape how it lands for every user from day one. This is a builder role for someone who's energetic, user-obsessed, and ready to turn operational complexity into a seamless experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work through ambiguity, and deliver in fast-moving environments
  • Strong communicator — able to translate technical complexity for commercial audiences and vice versa
  • Proven collaborator with a track record of building cross-functional relationships and influencing without authority
  • Fluency in English required

  • Experience with data and analytics tools to inform operational decisions (dashboards, reporting, adoption metrics)
  • Experience in Digital, Sales Ops, or commercial enablement roles with a bias toward technology adoption and process/platform capability improvement
  • Project/program management experience (Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent)
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus, but not a substitute for commercial instinct and execution track record
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own the speaker program user experience. Define and maintain current-state and future-state user journeys for each persona (Sales CFC, Brand Marketer, HCP speaker, Compliance, Operations), identifying pain points, system handoffs, and opportunities to reduce friction. Use field feedback, Voice of the Field data, and platform analytics to continuously improve the end-to-end experience.
  • Lead platform governance and evolution for the Speaker Program platform. Drive the enhancement roadmap based on user needs across BUs, manage the relationship with the platform vendor, and own the QBR cadence that connects field/brand experience data to product decisions. Champion cross-BU harmonization where it improves the user experience.
  • Manage day-to-day speaker program operations. Vendor triage and exception handling, issue resolution, expiration monitoring, speaker eligibility, program readiness assessments, and system access administration. Set and maintain SLAs for response time and resolution quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and consultative partner to Marketers and Sales CFCs. Diagnose issues fast, identify root cause, bring clear solution options and preventative measure to the table. Deliver activity reporting that give stakeholders visibility into program health. Maintain a standing cadence with individual Marketers and/or Sales Enablement and weekly/daily operational touchpoints with the platform vendor to stay ahead of issues.
  • Drive HCP onboarding, contracting, and certification. Ensure compliance and process standards are met, partnering with Compliance, Legal, and the platform vendor to keep the pipeline from nomination to certified speaker running compliantly.
  • Provide oversight to the approved content lifecycle, monitoring deck loading, revisions, expiration monitoring, and speaker-to-deck alignment to ensure compliant materials are current and accessible.
  • Coordinate compliance escalation. Manage sensitive inquiries from Corporate Compliance & Legal with discretion, rigor, and speed. Serve as the operational interface between Compliance policy and field execution.
  • Lead continuous improvement of the speaker program operating model. Identify operational capability gaps, design and implement process improvements, and measure outcomes. Build the measurement framework that proves what's working and what isn't.
  • Coordinate user training and onboarding. Define training requirements, and onboarding content for new hires, tool launches, and capability rollouts, ensuring every user is confident on the platform from day one.
