US Premium Finance Intern (Summer/Seasonal)

About The Position

This is a 6-week internship program for university students interested in exploring a career within premium finance. The purpose of this program will be to provide practical knowledge, internal department exposure, and networking opportunities. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Beginner proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Must have the ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
• Must have the ability to communicate in one-on-one and group settings such as business meetings, sales calls, training sessions.
• Must be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in areas such as Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training on the different departments within USPF and gain an understanding of how the business functions.
• Perform duties and meet deadlines as assigned
• Shadow team managers/members.
• Identify personal strengths and areas of improvement and work with team to grow in these areas.
• Participate in corporate training opportunities to further aid in professional development.
• Create a working document to capture key learnings/takeaways from each rotation in preparation for final presentation at the conclusion of the internship program.
