About The Position

Our NYC Trading team is hiring! High Touch Trading is important to the Kepler Cheuvreux group and part of our strategy for growing the execution footprint and expertise in North America. Requirements

  • 2+ years of equity trading experience at an institutional Broker-Dealer
  • Required: Series 7, 57(55) and 63 licenses
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. equities is essential along with knowledge of European Markets, ADRs, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and other securities products
  • Experienced with order management systems, such as SS&C and Itiviti (Broadbridge) products
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills
  • A team player who is client-focused, service-oriented and driven
  • Solid understanding of the needs of institutional clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong computer programming skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the execution of cash trades, program trades, monitoring of algo trades, ADR conversions, and the day-to-day functions of the US equity trading desk.
  • Ensuring orders are handled professionally within compliance guidelines and applicable policies and procedures.
  • Execute program trades.
  • Execute high touch orders with care.
  • Managing ADR creations and cancellations for customers.
  • Communicating market news updates to clients in a timely and professional matter.
  • Participating in the implementation and development of new systems and controls.
  • Maintaining requisite product and technical expertise.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $80k-$120k/annum
