About The Position

Visa is seeking an experienced and analytical US Benefits Analyst to join their global and centralized People Solutions Team Benefits Operations. This role will support the operational execution of employee benefits programs across the organization, focusing on data accuracy, process improvement, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and operational delivery. The primary region of responsibility is North America, with support for other regions as part of a global operating model.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in North America (NA) benefits administration with a strong focus on operational processes and benefits data management.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration platforms including Darwin, Workday, ADP, and PeopleSoft.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail with the ability to work with large data sets and perform root cause analysis.
  • Solid understanding of employee benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting or managing benefits invoicing processes, including submission and tracking of invoices through systems such as Ariba.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in a centralized HR or shared services environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Experience with benefits reporting and compliance filings.
  • Knowledge of project management or process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for day-to-day operations of health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans, supporting employees and internal partners with operational queries and escalations.
  • Analyze, audit, and reconcile benefits data across systems (HRIS, benefits platforms, vendor systems) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve escalated benefits issues and service disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
  • Identify trends and process inefficiencies, recommending and implementing process improvements, including automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, workflows, and process documentation.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on benefit metrics, enrollment activity, and plan performance.
  • Participate in system implementations, enhancements, integrations, and new plan launches as required.
  • Support annual enrollment processes, including testing, data audits, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.
  • Manage benefits-related invoicing activities, including timely invoice submission through Ariba, monitoring payment status, and responding to queries for accurate and timely settlement.
