About The Position

ABX is a dynamic, fast-growing chemical and radiopharmaceutical company based in Saxony, Germany. The company is a subsidiary of Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL), headquartered in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Since 2007, ABX has been part of Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. As a global market leader in the production of precursors and kits for PET diagnostics, ABX supports technologies used primarily in tumor detection through positron emission tomography (PET). With approximately 400 employees and a strong market position, ABX continues to achieve profitable growth. To support continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager located in the United States to join our team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, nuclear medicine, life sciences, business, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience may be considered
  • 5 or more years of successful B2B sales, business development, or account executive experience, preferably within radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new business, manage a sales pipeline, negotiate agreements, and close new customer opportunities
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare market, including hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, clinical stakeholders, and relevant decision-makers
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities across a broad territory, and collaborate effectively with internal teams
  • Fluency in English required; German language skills strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the U.S.
  • Work authorization and permanent residency in the U.S. required

Responsibilities

  • Sales of our radiopharmaceutical products and services in the U.S.
  • Communication with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and other relevant stakeholders in healthcare
  • Building, maintaining and expanding a strong customer network
  • Implementing sales strategies
  • Market analysis, identifying new business opportunities, and monitoring the competition
  • Attending trade conferences, trade shows, and scientific events
  • Prospecting, identifying, and qualifying new business opportunities across the U.S. healthcare, pharmaceutical, and radiopharmaceutical markets
  • Developing and managing a robust new business pipeline, including outreach to prospective customers, decision-makers, and strategic partners
  • Conducting consultative sales conversations to understand customer needs, present tailored solutions, and advance opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing new customer agreements in alignment with company growth objectives
  • Maintaining accurate opportunity, forecast, and customer activity records to support sales planning and revenue visibility
