About The Position

Community Care Physicians (CCP) is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Community Care Urology, a thriving, physician-led practice dedicated to delivering exceptional urologic care for adult patients throughout New York's Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside five board-certified urologists and an experienced team of advanced practice providers in a collaborative outpatient practice specializing in comprehensive urologic care for both men and women. Our providers utilize the latest advancements in urologic medicine, including robotic surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and innovative in-office treatments to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • License and active registration as a physician assistant or registered nurse/nurse practitioner in New York State.
  • For Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in physician assistant studies and successful completion of physician assistant training program approved by the NYS Department of Education or accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, or a program that is determined by the Department to be the substantial equivalent of a licensure qualifying or accredited program.
  • For Physician Assistant: Current certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • For Physician Assistant: At least one year of experience as a physician assistant in ambulatory health care.
  • For Physician Assistant: Current CPR certification.
  • For Nurse Practitioner: Successful completion of and graduation from a nurse practitioner education program acceptable to NYSED.
  • For Nurse Practitioner: Current certification as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • For Nurse Practitioner: Successful completion of pharmacology coursework acceptable to NYSED.
  • For Nurse Practitioner: At least one year of experience as a nurse practitioner in ambulatory health care.
  • For Nurse Practitioner: Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of professional nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred (for Nurse Practitioner).
