About The Position

This role involves providing scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital and clinic setting. The APP will be responsible for completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, and ordering appropriate laboratory tests. The position also includes counseling patients and their families on health and disease, participating in continuing education and training to maintain credentialing, and working a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
