About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a qualified BC/BE Urologist to join their staff. This is an opportunity to join an established group of 6 MDs and 7 Advanced Practice Clinicians at an 180 Bed Primary Hospital with a Level III Trauma Center. The role offers an instant referral base from over 100 Primary Care Clinicians and full support staff, including APCs. There will be opportunities for interaction with Surgical Residents and Medical Students. Call responsibility is limited to the Primary Hospital, with APCs taking first inpatient call. The practice features state-of-the-art ORs, including one devoted to the Xi DaVinci Surgical System. The position is within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region and a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Requirements

MD, DO or MBBS
BC/BE in Urology
Completion of an accredited USA Urology Residency
New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS certification required
Strong teamwork, patient-centered approach, and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary academic setting.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $515,000 - $619,000 with significant incentive potential
Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000
Residency Stipend: up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation
