About The Position

Hawthorn Medical Associates is seeking a BC/BE Urologist to join their practice in Dartmouth, MA. This is an opportunity to join a happy, well-established, independently doctor-owned group of four General Urologists who are affiliated with Brown University. The practice offers a comprehensive range of urological services, including oncology, endoscopic stone procedures, laparoscopy and robotics, Aquablation, MRI guided prostate biopsies, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, BPH, and female urology. The position includes a 4-day work week with a mix of office and OR time, with the option for more if desired. The group utilizes a da Vinci Xi robot and has a dedicated cystoscopy suite in both the hospital and an onsite outpatient surgical center. There is a strong internal referral network, and the role involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient work. The call schedule is 1:5 and shared equitably.

Requirements

BC/BE Urologist
Willingness to practice nearly all aspects of Urology.
Ability to work a 4-day work week.
Ability to participate in a 1:5 call schedule.

Nice To Haves

Experience with da Vinci Xi robot.
Experience with dedicated cystoscopy suite.
Experience with Aquablation and MRI guided prostate biopsies.

Responsibilities

Practice nearly all aspects of Urology, including oncology, endoscopic stone procedures, laparoscopy and robotics, Aquablation, MRI guided prostate biopsies, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, BPH, female urology.
Perform procedures in the hospital and onsite outpatient surgical center, utilizing a da Vinci Xi robot and dedicated cystoscopy suite.
Manage a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases.
Participate in a 1:5 call schedule, shared equitably within the group.
Collaborate with a team of four General Urologists and five Advanced Practitioners.
Contribute to a strong internal referral network.
