About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens Physician position in Urology at an Inpatient facility in Wausau, WI. The coverage is Call Only, with a 24-hour schedule from 7 AM to 7 AM, required for 1-2 weeks per month, preferably Monday to Monday. Weekend coverage might be considered. The call type is Beeper with a 20-minute response time. This position is for supplemental coverage and will involve rounding on unassigned patients and approximately 20 phone consults. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. The facility uses Epic EMR and has a support staff of 3 RNs, 15 MAs, 7 APPs, and 4 Office Staff.

Requirements

• Board Certified (BC)
• WI or IMLC License
• Must be available for 1-2 weeks per month, Mon-Mon preferred.
• Must be able to perform stone cases and stent placements.
• Must be able to provide 24-hour beeper call coverage with a 20-minute response time.

Responsibilities

• Perform urological surgeries including stone cases and stent placements.
• Remain open to additional urological procedures as required.
• Adapt to scheduling needs to ensure coverage.
• Provide on-call coverage for urology consultations.
• Maintain communication with facility staff.
