About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position providing 24-hour Urology call coverage at a Level II Trauma center and Hospital in Kearney, NE. The coverage period is from November 26, 2026, to December 28, 2026, with specific dates including Nov 26-30 and Dec 24-28. The role involves managing 0-5 ED consults per day for General Urology cases. Support staff, including surgery nurses and techs on call, are available. The physician will use the EPIC EMR system and is responsible for maintaining documentation.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active NE license or willing to obtain
• Active DEA Certification
• Case logs from last 2 years required

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour Urology call coverage at Level II Trauma center and Hospital.
• Receive hand off from Urologists and manage consults.
• Manage Urology emergencies and surgeries as needed.
• Collaborate with surgery nurses and techs on call.
• Maintain EPIC documentation.
