About The Position

As our Urologist, you will join Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican in Santa Cruz, CA. You will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive urological services, blending both outpatient clinical management and surgical care within a mission-driven, physician-led group focused on clinical excellence and community impact. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions, including bladder dysfunction, prostate conditions, kidney stones, and urinary tract cancers. You will work alongside a dedicated team of advanced practice providers and collaborate closely with specialists in cardiology, oncology, internal medicine, and more. This role offers the opportunity to participate in quality improvement and clinical education initiatives, contributing to the continuous advancement of patient care and medical knowledge within a patient-focused medical group that has strong community ties. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Urology
  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions, including bladder dysfunction, prostate conditions, kidney stones, and urinary tract cancers.
  • Provide comprehensive urological services, blending both outpatient clinical management and surgical care.
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of advanced practice providers.
