About The Position

We are seeking a Urologist for a Locum Tenens position in Topeka, KS. This role involves providing both clinical and call coverage in a hospital and outpatient setting. The coverage period is from August 2, 2026, to November 1, 2026. The schedule will include 3 clinic days and 2 OR days per week, with shared call coverage rotation. The patient population consists of adult urology patients, with an average of 25-30 clinic patients per day. The case mix includes general urology, robotic urology, and pelvic floor reconstruction. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system and has a da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System available. Specialty backup and a 24-hour nurse triage service are provided.

Requirements

• Active Medical License Required
• Board Eligible Required; Board Certified Preferred
• Active DEA
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Urology
• Robotic Surgery Experience Required
• Robotic Training Required
• Ability to Work in Both Clinic and Operating Room Settings

Nice To Haves

• Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Experience Strongly Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient urology clinic coverage
• Perform robotic and general urologic surgical procedures
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urologic conditions
• Participate in shared hospital call coverage as assigned
• Document patient care activities within Epic EMR
