About The Position

The Department of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC is seeking a full-time, mid-career urologist specializing in Urologic Reconstructive and Pelvic Surgery (URPS) / Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). The role involves leading the growth of a comprehensive female urology program, integrating clinical care, research, and education. The position includes a dual appointment with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, with an expectation to collaborate on joint initiatives. The successful candidate will mentor trainees and junior faculty.

Requirements

  • M.D. in Urology with appropriate board certification/eligibility.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.
  • For Associate Professor level: 6 - 9 years of experience.
  • For Professor level: 10+ years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a large hospital service is beneficial.
