About The Position

The University of Maryland Division of Urology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible urologist interested in reconstructive urology. The position is for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank. Responsibilities include clinical care, education of students and residents, and participation in research programs. Practice opportunities are available at multiple University of Maryland system locations. The role offers opportunities for basic and clinical research.

Requirements

  • BC/BE urologist interested in reconstructive urology
  • Qualified to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor

Responsibilities

  • Clinical care of urology patients
  • Education of students and residents
  • Participation in research programs
  • Manage a high volume of patients with urinary incontinence, urethral strictures, ureteral strictures, as well as patients who need post radiation or post traumatic injury reconstruction.
  • Collaborate with Urology residents to contribute to a positive learning experience.
  • Collaborate with a committed clinical team, including PAs and RNs, to provide top-notch patient care.
