About The Position

Optum NY is seeking a Urogynecologist to join their team in Poughkeepsie, NY. The position is 100% Urogynecology practice with no hospital call requirement, a dedicated Women’s Center floor with an available surgical suite for minor procedures, a robust in-house diagnostic testing facility, and office-based practice with access to traditional ASC and hospital venues. A full complement of support teams and resources such as Urodynamics, special testing, and robotics are available.

Requirements

Completion of Urogynecology or Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship.
Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery board certified or board eligible.
Active and unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or ability to obtain prior to start.
Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive women’s health services to the community through office services and inpatient/outpatient surgical procedures.
Maintain a Monday-Friday clinic/office schedule with built-in rounding time.
Perform full scope UroGYN practice including major and minor procedures, and minimally invasive surgeries with robotics.
