The Drug Testing Technician/Female is responsible for various duties related to the collection, processing, reporting and recording of urinalysis samples as well as oral swabs and sweat patches submitted on or off site. The Technician will monitor client submission of samples and ensure chain of custody is intact. Technicians will also administer breathalyzer procedures as needed. The Tech will communicate any clients case manager or program supervisor of any unusual occurrences including, but not limited to, positive BA, adulterated urine or disturbances of any type. Tech will work as a team and help provide customer service to clients and support teammates. The position is Part Time and includes weekends. Working hours are spent indoors in the Drug Testing department at VA Campus location: 1601 East Fourth Plain Blvd BLDG #17, Vancouver Washington. Techs will primarily work in the Drug Testing office, but may also work in meeting rooms. Staff development activities will be required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent are required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with issues specific to addiction and recovery a plus.
