About The Position
Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Urgent Care-focused Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our growing small animal practice in Muncy, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to build confidence in fast-paced medicine or experienced DVMs who enjoy the variety of urgent care. The clinic's urgent care hours run until 7 PM, offering the clinical variety and fast pace of urgent care medicine without sacrificing evenings. The position emphasizes meaningful, hands-on medicine with a schedule that allows for work-life balance. The clinic also offers a comprehensive mentorship program designed to support veterinarians at all career stages, with individualized guidance, hands-on learning, and ongoing support from a six-doctor team. Highly skilled technicians handle tasks such as blood draws, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory diagnostics, enabling veterinarians to concentrate on patient care and learning.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
- Open to both recent graduates and experienced veterinarians
- Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Pennsylvania
- Comfort or interest in working in a fast-paced, urgent care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
