This hospital will focus on accessible, high-quality medicine, with future plans for advanced diagnostics and specialty services. This role offers the chance to shape the hospital's operations, culture, and medical standards from its inception, participating in an employee ownership trust and profit-sharing model.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) graduates from an accredited university
• Licensed or eligible to practice in Newfoundland and Labrador
• Entrepreneurial and interested in the business side of veterinary medicine
• Excited by leadership, mentorship, and hospital development
• Adaptable, collaborative, and solutions-focused

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Manage urgent care and emergency cases in a fast-paced environment
• Perform surgical procedures as needed
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Collaborate with leadership to develop workflows and hospital processes
• Contribute to team culture, mentorship, and operational growth
• Help identify opportunities for service expansion and continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
