About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time EMT to join our high-energy, patient-centered Sparta Urgent Care. As an Urgent Care Technician/EMT, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patient demographics at our new Sparta Urgent Care. You will be expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). Sparta Urgent Care will be open 7 days per week, during and after clinic hours; Monday-Friday 10a-6p & Saturday and Sunday 8a-4p. This is a part-time position, 64 hours bi-weekly (0.8 FTE), with 8-hour shifts and every other weekend rotation. The starting pay is $19.05 per hour and up, based on experience, with generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials. The role involves working in a high-energy, patient-centered environment that serves every patient population from infancy to the elderly.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency
National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMT) or Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B)
Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
Prior work experience in an emergency or pre-hospital setting is required
