About The Position

Inova Go Health Urgent Care is seeking dedicated Physicians to join our team. Positions are available for one of our 23 various facilities and shifts including PRN/Part Time/Full-Time opportunities. You can be considered for any position in the following counties/service areas in Northern Virginia: Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Prince William County, Alexandria City, Fairfax City, Falls Church City, Manassas City & Manassas Park City.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine.
• Successful completion of Family Medicine residency program.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
• Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors.
• Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor.
• Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial assessments and evaluations of new patients and provides ongoing monitoring of patients' medical conditions while providing treatment.
• Orders prescription medications and diagnostic procedures while authorizing and coordinating all specialty and ancillary services.
• Participates in the development of such programs as preventive health screenings, immunization programs, professional community outreach, quality assurance and others.
• Participates in a wide range of clinical research projects and studies.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team activities such as case conferences.
• Provides in-service staff development and clinical teachings to trainees rotating through medical practice.
• Maintains a consultative relationship with nurses, social workers, staff clinic nurses and rehabilitation staff.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
