Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Active state medical license
• 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
• Experience treating patients across all age groups
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Responsibilities

• Independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including examining and treating patients with acute conditions.
• Take medical histories and order diagnostic tests.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe medications.
• Perform minor procedures and administer vaccinations.
• Document patient progress and coordinate follow-up care.
• Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support.
• Work 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
