Urgent Care- Full-Time- NP/PA
About The Position
Atrium Health is hiring a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant for its Urgent Care team at Prosperity Crossing. The position is part of a network of more than 30 urgent care locations in the Charlotte metro area, focused on evidence-based urgent care medicine and high-quality patient care. Team members have access to consultations and standard care-delivery protocols, and work in state-of-the-art centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an EMR integrated with Atrium Health. The system also coordinates with local emergency departments when acute care needs require transfer. The role is a solo-provider position with a base schedule averaging three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. Locations are generally open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The listed pay range is $54.90–$82.35 per hour. The role includes incentive opportunities and a comprehensive benefits and well-being offering, subject to eligibility.
Requirements
- Be a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
- Have 2 years of experience in urgent care, family medicine, and/or emergency medicine.
- Be able to work as a solo provider.
