77 Consultants is urgently seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to join our medical practice in Lancaster. Requirements

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Health Connect
  • Coverage Period: Immediate start for a duration of 3 months.
  • Shift Schedule: 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, four shifts weekly, including every other weekend and holiday coverage.
  • Call Responsibilities: No on-call duties required.
  • Patient Demographics and Case Types: Focused on urgent care and same-day visits that address episodic health issues. Typical cases include cold and flu management, suturing, X-ray evaluations, incision and drainage, fracture care, and toenail removal. Providers must possess significant experience in high-acuity settings, either in standalone urgent care facilities or emergency departments, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience within the last 3 years.
  • Patient Volume: Anticipate 3 scheduled patients per hour, accounting for 2 blocks designated for mentor spots. Appointment duration is 20 minutes for both in-person and video visits, and 10 minutes for telephone consultations. Familiarity with telehealth modalities is necessary, although the majority of consultations will be face-to-face.
  • Support Staff Availability: Dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs) will provide support.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Candidates must hold a valid California license, a furnishing license for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Board Certification Requirement: Must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
