Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
About The Position
Join the Munson Healthcare Urgent Care Team! This is a full-time job opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Petoskey Community Health Center – Urgent Care location in Petoskey, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be joining a team of experienced, friendly, and highly motivated healthcare providers, clinicians, and support staff who are dedicated to delivering excellent care to their patients and community. The Urgent Care is open 7 days a week, Monday - Friday from 8a-7p, and Saturday and Sunday from 8a-5p. The Community Health Center offers a range of services including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Specialty Clinics (Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Urology), Laboratory, Cardiac Diagnostics, Radiology, and more. The role involves seeing an average of 30+ patients in a 12-hour shift.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing OR Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies
- State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license required
- Vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
- Receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Primary Care or Emergency setting is desirable.
