About The Position
UT Health East Texas is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its highly skilled Urgent Care team. This position will support multiple Urgent Care locations across the system, providing flexible coverage as needed. The role offers a flexible, shift-based PRN schedule, typically with 12-hour shifts in an outpatient-only setting with no call required. Providers will rotate and provide coverage across multiple Urgent Care locations. Clinic hours vary by location. Onsite lab, X-ray, and point-of-care testing are available, along with strong clinical and administrative support staff. The clinic utilizes the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- Experience with Urgent Care setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible, shift-based PRN schedule
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
