Desert Valley Medical Group in Victorville, California is looking for an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. Requirements
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certification as an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork
- Ability to effectively manage medically complex patients
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pulmonary medicine, critical care, hospital medicine, or another inpatient specialty preferred or more than 5 years high acuity critical care nursing experience
- Applicants with less than two years of relevant NP experience are eligible for our Transition-to-Practice Program
Responsibilities
- Per-diem shifts in Victorville, CA
- Work up to 15 shifts per month
- Work 12-hour shifts
