Requirements

Doctorate Degree
Graduation from an Accredited Medical School.
MD-Physician - State Medical Board
Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques.
Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
Able to effectively manage and direct medical staff support activities while providing quality medical care.
Able to receive detailed information through oral communications; express or exchange ideas by verbal communications.
Excellent written and verbal communications, listening, and social skills.
Able to interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems.
Performs in a tactful and professional manner.
Computer skills required.

Responsibilities

Provide medical care to patients, diagnose illnesses, write prescriptions and perform various medical procedures and exams.
Records relevant information in patient records.
Analyze records, examination information, or test results to diagnose medical conditions. (60%)
Assess patients' pain levels or sedation requirements. (10%)
Collect and record patient information, such as medical history or examination results. (10%)
Communicate likely outcomes of medical diseases or traumatic conditions to patients or their representatives. (10%)
Conduct primary patient assessments that include information from prior medical care. (10%)
