About The Position

Urban Outfitters is looking for a Women's Apparel Buying Intern to join us for the Summer. This role would focus on the Men's team and support our growing categories in the business. This person will support all buying functions related to Women's Apparel. This internship is open to rising seniors (current undergraduate juniors) only. The URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/7 through 8/13 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA. This paid internship program offers a summer full of intern-focused events, including exposure to senior leadership, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips, and the opportunity to interview for a full-time position.

Requirements

Passionate about the UO customer and fashion trend with an eye for emerging trends across social media, street style, and retail.
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment by staying organized, prioritizing effectively, and planning ahead.
Comfortable shifting gears and jumping into new tasks as needed, with a flexible mindset and a willingness to learn on the go.
Clear and confident communicator who can collaborate with team members and external partners in a professional and respectful way.
Must be a rising senior (current undergraduate junior) pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Submit a Trend Concept Board (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred) with 3 – 5 fashion trends for the Urban Outfitters customer in Fall 2027, pulling imagery from Streetwear, Pinterest, Social, runway, etc.

Responsibilities

Assist the team in researching product and customer trends across social media, retail, and pop culture to help inform seasonal product direction and support design and merchandising decisions.
Help gather and interpret sales data and customer reviews to identify popular styles, fit issues, and opportunities for improvement in upcoming collections.
Support the tracking, labeling, and organization of product samples to ensure the team has easy access for fittings, meetings, and photoshoots.
Collaborate with internal teams like design, buying, and marketing, and assist in communicating with vendors to help keep projects on track and ensure product accuracy.
