About The Position

Urban Outfitters is looking for a Men's Buying Intern to join us for the Summer. This role will focus on the Men's team and support our growing categories in the business. This person will support all buying functions related to Men's. This internship is open to rising seniors (current undergraduate juniors) only. The URBN Summer Internship Program offers hands-on learning experience, intern-focused events, exposure to senior leadership, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips, and the opportunity to interview for a full-time position. The program will run from 6/7 through 8/13 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Requirements

Passionate about the UO customer and fashion trend with an eye for emerging trends across social media, street style, and retail.
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment by staying organized, prioritizing effectively, and planning ahead.
Comfortable shifting gears and jumping into new tasks as needed, with a flexible mindset and a willingness to learn on the go.
Clear and confident communicator who can collaborate with team members and external partners in a professional and respectful way.
Must be a rising senior (current undergraduate junior) to apply.
Submit a Trend Concept Board (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred) as part of the application.

Responsibilities

Assist the team in researching product and customer trends across social media, retail, and pop culture to help inform seasonal product direction and support design and merchandising decisions.
Help gather and interpret sales data and customer reviews to identify popular styles, fit issues, and opportunities for improvement in upcoming collections.
Support the tracking, labeling, and organization of product samples to ensure the team has easy access for fittings, meetings, and photoshoots.
Collaborate with internal teams like design, buying, and marketing, and assist in communicating with vendors to help keep projects on track and ensure product accuracy.
