SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking an Urban Mobility Civil Engineer Lead to join their growing Urban Mobility & Infrastructure group. This role will involve working on a variety of innovative projects, including managing projects that balance pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle priorities, urban roadway projects, municipal infrastructure projects, and pedestrian/bicycle focused improvement projects. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited school.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Demonstrated strong skills in their area of expertise and have prior related and successful work experience with a demonstrated ability to complete the core responsibilities of the position.
  • Microsoft office suite experience.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for new employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or in Bentley 3D design tools a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work under general supervision.
  • Manage and coordinate project tasks with other groups/disciplines, including the monitoring of project budgets.
  • Lead design tasks for projects.
  • Exhibit quality day-to-day work in line with SRF’s quality management plan.
  • Develop project documents including reports, studies, construction contract documents, and permit applications.
  • Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public as necessary for project completion.
  • Assist in development of proposals.
  • Work on tasks and projects that require increased ingenuity and problem-solving skills.
  • Serve as trusted technical resource and demonstrates sound judgement.
  • Review and sign off on plans, drawings, specifications, plats, reports, and other documents.
  • Manage specific discipline tasks and serves as a point of contact for internal clients on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Assist in managing medium to large/more complex projects.
  • Lead small single-discipline focused projects and serve as a point of contact for external client under the supervision of Level V or higher staff.
  • Demonstrate leadership amongst their peers at a group level.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
