Essential Functions Provide tours of the College to transitioning students. Staff the UPWARD Connect Center and provide information specific to transitioning students. Assist with special events including working with community-based organizations on campus. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the College and attend and participate in training opportunities. Work with Educational Navigators to get students acclimated to on-campus resources. Complete general UPWARD Connect Center office tasks including, but not limited to, mailings, general office work, stocking supplies, event set up/tear down, etc. on an as-needed basis. Provide peer support if applicable. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students, faculty members, and college employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute, regardless of their identities. Foster a community where diverse identities and perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the College’s policies and programming related to access, fair employment, equal employment opportunity, equity, inclusion and diversity.
