About The Position

Operate, maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot all site Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) systems and related equipment including Multi-Media Filters, Reverse Osmosis, ElectroDeIonization, Ion Exchange and UltraFilters. Maintain and repair pumps, motors, valves, filters, piping, and instrumentation supporting UPW systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related UPW system issues and perform root-cause analysis. Perform low- and medium-voltage electrical work and minor pipefitting associated with UPW infrastructure. Support system startups, shutdowns, commissioning, and vendor service work. Participate in emergency response activities and provide on-call support as required. Operate facilities systems, perform rounds, record readings, and maintain operating and maintenance documentation. Use CMMS to complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset history tracking. Work collaboratively across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and wastewater disciplines to support facility operations.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of UPW & Chemical process equipment, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Clear communicator able to collaborate effectively with manufacturing teams and leadership.
  • Proven root‑cause problem solver focused on systemic improvement and execution.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and effective at prioritizing work based on customer needs.
  • AAS degree or completion of a certified apprenticeship or trade school in UPW, mechanical, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Three (3) years of experience in UPW operations, semiconductor facilities, or industrial utilities operations.
