About The Position

This is a production job in which the Technician is expected to produce standards quickly and accurately using weighing and pipetting techniques. All procedures will be performed according to all safety requirements. The Technician will be working with concentrated acids and Organic solvents to make trace metal products. This position may require creating or generating waste that is hazardous by regulation or that must be handled as hazardous waste regulations and company procedures require.

Requirements

High School diploma.
Excellent verbal and communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to problem solve and maintain critical thinking.
Ability to use lab equipment safely and correctly.

Nice To Haves

2 year Associates degree in a physical science (Chemistry, Biology or Physics) is preferred or 2+ years of relevant experience.

Prepare aqueous and/or metal-organic stock and custom products per Quality System Procedures.

Focus is on Aqueous products and chemist is expected to learn the Aqueous product line production.
