About The Position

This position is responsible for packaging and processing all products going to customers via orders in the Shipping Department including bulk, export, and UPS shipments.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to ship orders accurately and on time to provide the best products and service to all customers.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and work instructions or procedure manuals.
Math skills used add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
Critical thinking skills are necessary to solve practical problems.
Verbal and written communication skills to resolve problems and communicate with internal and external customers.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare shipping reports and logs, process orders for Shipping.
Process cartons for shipment via UPS; stack cartons on pallets as required.
Operate UPS equipment.
Ship Bulk orders; resolve problems with shipments of bulk orders.
Enter export orders into TMS, ship Export orders.
Process required paperwork.
Ability to meet job requirements and duty changes as required by changing company needs.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
Be actively involved in proactive measures towards safety for self and co-workers.
Other job activities as assigned.
