About The Position
Supervise and facilitate the after school program of 4-6 graders in Upper Elementary. This is a part-time, non-exempt position that follows the school calendar, with hours from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The program is located in the 4-6 Eagles Zone.
Requirements
- Leadership skills in relation to working with children in middle school
- Communication skills in relation to working with children in middle school
- Organization skills in relation to working with children in middle school
- Management skills in relation to working with children in middle school
- Well-developed sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills
- Friendly and patient interactions with parents and students
- Reliable, consistent attendance
- Comfortable working in a multi-denominational, Christian environment
- Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to compare, analyze, communicate, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile and negotiate
