About The Position
School Professionals is recruiting substitute preschool teacher aides to work in any of New York City’s five boroughs and/or parts of Long Island. Short-term and long-term assignments may be available. The role supports classroom teaching duties and helps maintain a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment. Candidates are expected to follow school and School Professionals policies, work positively in a fast-paced environment, and report reliably and punctually for scheduled work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 months of experience in a teaching, childcare, or analogous position with children aged 5 or younger.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the professional duties of a classroom teacher.
- Adhere to school policies and School Professionals policies.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Report for scheduled work reliably and punctually.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
