This individual will be joining our 2nd shift Upholstery Team. The position involves fabricating and installing upholstery, covering panels, and making simple patterns for aircraft interiors using design/engineering drawings and aircraft specifications. The role requires performing technical upholstery functions within design, customer, FAA, and Gulfstream specifications. Specific installation and trim tasks are to be completed in compliance with work order instructions and specifications. This includes fitting panels and windows, cabin headliners, upper sidewalls, lower side panels, hatch panels, windows, cutting and surging carpets, covering bulkheads, fabricating various metal parts, and covering and installing panels. The role also involves creating carpet patterns per design drawings and completing installation, and using the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign off work. Other duties as assigned.
