About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining various aspects of the property's physical environment, including lawn care, interior repairs, and general maintenance. The engineer will perform both routine and preventative maintenance tasks, responding to service needs with a focus on guest satisfaction. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Requirements

Knowledge of general maintenance procedures
Trade certification required.
1 – 2 years maintenance and/or engineering experience, preferably in gaming or hospitality
Must have a current valid driver’s license
Driving record must meet driver eligibility requirements of Rivers Casino’s insurance policy
Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Ability to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Maintain lawn areas in a well-groomed manner
Replace damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and wall coverings
Perform day-to-day maintenance (electrical, structural, carpentry, general)
Perform preventative maintenance to equipment on a scheduled basis
Handle routine calls, prioritized by guest service needs
All other duties as assigned
