About The Position

Regal Boats is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Upholstery Prototype Specialist. This role involves developing and constructing prototype boat upholstery, introducing them into production, and troubleshooting technical issues related to sewing and upholstery.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment under time constraints.
• Accurate reading of tape measures.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in daily scheduled hours.
• Ability to take direction from various Supervisors and Managers and adapt to change quickly.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and Google Sheets.
• Conversational English.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient use of small hand tools, both electrical and air-powered, related to sewing and upholstery.
• Experience in composite materials.
• Ability to drive a forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build jigs/fixtures, patterns, templates, or other documentation related to upholstery and sewing processes.
• Build prototype upholstery assemblies and mockups based on design and engineering drawings.
• Work collaboratively with the design/documentation team to ensure accurate information transfer.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the upholstery prototype area.
