About The Position

MITY Inc. is seeking dependable, detail-oriented production team members for fabric cutting and upholstery at its Orem, Utah location. The role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment, cutting fabric to patterns and specifications and upholstering chair seats and backs. Team members use fabric-cutting equipment and upholstery tools, inspect materials and completed products for quality, and help meet daily production goals while keeping equipment and work areas clean and safe. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some overtime on Fridays. The listed pay range is $19.00–$20.99 per hour.

Requirements

• Dependable and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable with hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable using tools, following instructions, and performing repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous fabric-cutting, upholstery, or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Cut fabric according to patterns and production specifications.
• Upholster chair seats and backs using fabric and upholstery tools.
• Operate fabric-cutting equipment and upholstery tools safely.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and safe.
• Work with the team and assist in other production areas as needed.
