About The Position

Darigold is hiring a motivated Ultra Pasteurized (UP) Filler Operator at its Caldwell plant. The operator is part of a self-activating, team-based production workforce that prioritizes safety and product quality in a fast-paced, rigorous environment. The role operates a two-lane modern filler and related production activities, including Y tank clean-in-place (CIP) and setup. The operator is responsible for meeting production targets, maintaining equipment and product quality, completing quality-assurance checks and documentation, minimizing material losses, and following sanitation, safety, and good manufacturing practices. The position also supports coworkers operating other culture machines and completes preventive maintenance and environmental tasks as assigned. Requirements

Nice To Haves

Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas within consumer products preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate the two-lane modern filler and perform associated production tasks, including Y tank CIPs and setup.
Keep the machine operating at posted speeds for the relevant size and efficiency requirements.
Meet production targets and deliver increased output figures.
Verify that products have the correct code date and label identification.
Clearly and accurately document production data.
Inform supervision and maintenance of mechanical issues.
Monitor product quality and maintain product within specifications.
Maintain and help minimize losses of packaging and other materials used in the job.
Inspect equipment before production setup, during production, and during CIP, and report possible mechanical deficiencies.
Complete all QA checks and documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work with required sanitation chemicals.
Communicate professionally within the Culture department to support a positive environment.
Complete PMs and other environmental tasks as assigned.
Follow cleanup procedures, including GMPs.
Follow and comply with safety and quality-assurance practices.
Support coworkers running other culture machines as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leads, supervisors, or managers.
