About The Position

Frima is looking for an Unreal (C++) Programmer to help take our game programming team to the next level. We are Frima, a video game development studio based in Quebec City and Montreal with over 20 years of experience. We bring together hundreds of passionate talents, united by one ambition: creating unforgettable games across all platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• Approximately five (5) years of experience in a programming role, including at least one (1) year of experience with Unreal Engine (4 or 5)
• Ability to travel internationally when required
• Excellent written and spoken French and English. English proficiency is required, as we collaborate with English-speaking partners.

• Experience in cross-platform game development is considered a strong asset
• Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks
• Diplomacy, autonomy, resourcefulness, and versatility
• Strong ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with your project’s development team to discuss ongoing work and identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to the creation of prototypes and the development of new features
• Program and develop robust systems and high-quality code that meet technical and design requirements to ensure the smooth operation of our games
• Integrate assets such as 3D models, animations, user interfaces, visual effects, and audio
• Contribute to the development of tools that improve the team’s efficiency
• Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure the quality of our work
